Privacy Policy

Last updated: 27.05.2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Viajes Wild Valencia (“we”, “us”, “the company”) collects, uses, and protects your personal data when you visit our website or book one of our experiences. We are committed to protecting your privacy in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR / Regulation (EU) 2016/679) and Spanish data protection law (LOPDGDD).

1. Data Controller

The data controller responsible for your personal data is:

  • Name: Miguel Santos (Viajes Wild Valencia)
  • Address: Plaza Vicente Iborra 4-6, 46003 El Carmen — Valencia, Spain
  • Phone: +34 669 40 92 60
  • Email: wild.valencia.suport@gmail.com

If you have any questions about this policy or how we handle your data, you can contact us using the details above.

2. What Data We Collect

Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect the following personal data:

Bookings

When you book a tour or experience, our booking is handled through Bókun (a Tripadvisor company). The data collected to process your booking may include your name, email address, phone number, number of participants, selected date, and any special requirements you provide. Payment is processed by Bókun and/or its payment providers; we do not store your full card details.

Contact and enquiries

When you contact us through a form, by email, or via WhatsApp, we collect the information you choose to share — typically your name, contact details, and the content of your message.

Newsletter

If you subscribe to our newsletter (“Dispatch”), we collect your email address to send you periodic updates. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email.

Technical data and cookies

When you visit the website, we may automatically collect limited technical data such as your IP address, browser type, and pages visited. See Section 7 for details on cookies.

3. How We Use Your Data

We use your personal data only for the following purposes:

  • To process and manage your bookings and provide the experiences you have reserved.
  • To respond to your enquiries and communicate with you about your booking.
  • To send you our newsletter, where you have given consent.
  • To improve our website and services.
  • To comply with our legal and accounting obligations.

4. Legal Basis for Processing

We process your data under the following legal bases set out in the GDPR:

  • Performance of a contract — to manage your booking and deliver the service you requested.
  • Consent — for the newsletter and any non-essential cookies. You may withdraw consent at any time.
  • Legitimate interest — to maintain the security of our website and improve our services.
  • Legal obligation — to meet tax, accounting, and other legal requirements.

5. Sharing Your Data

We do not sell your personal data. We only share it with third parties where necessary to provide our services:

  • Bókun / Tripadvisor — our booking platform, which processes reservation and payment data.
  • Payment providers — to process payments securely.
  • Service providers — such as hosting and email providers, who act on our instructions.
  • Authorities — where required by law.

Some of these providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where this happens, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.

6. Data Retention

We keep your personal data only for as long as necessary:

  • Booking data — for the duration of our relationship and afterwards for the period required by Spanish tax and accounting law (generally up to 6 years).
  • Enquiry data — for as long as needed to handle your request and a reasonable period afterwards.
  • Newsletter data — until you unsubscribe.

7. Cookies

Our website uses only essential and functional cookies that are necessary for it to work correctly. These include cookies set by WordPress for basic site operation and security, and a cookie used to remember your chosen language (English or Spanish). These cookies do not track you for advertising and, under EU rules, do not require prior consent.

We do not currently use analytics or marketing cookies. If our booking provider (Bókun) sets cookies when you use the booking widget, these are governed by their own privacy and cookie policies.

8. Your Rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Rectify inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Erase your data (“right to be forgotten”).
  • Restrict or object to certain processing.
  • Data portability — receive your data in a portable format.
  • Withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in Section 1. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (Agencia Española de Protección de Datos, AEPD, www.aepd.es) if you believe your rights have not been respected.

9. Security

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, loss, or misuse.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The latest version will always be available on this page, with the “last updated” date at the top.
